One of the key projects will be the Amur Gas Chemical Complex, which will be able to produce up to 2.7 million tons of polymer per year. The Irkutsk Polymer Plant will also contribute with a production capacity of 650 thousand tons of polyethylene per year.

The modernization of Sibur enterprises and the launch of new projects within the scope of construction of the EP-600 unit will increase production. The forecast also takes into account the development of polymer production in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, where joint ventures with Russian companies such as Sibur and Tatneft will increase capacity to 5.7 million tons, Ogrel noted.
