The Budget and Tax Committee recommends adopting this bill in the first reading. According to it, the cost of a license will be 20 thousand rubles per year. The authors of the initiative believe that such a measure will lead to an increase in regional budget revenues by 1 billion rubles per year, or 4.8 billion rubles in total.

The rate for one point will decrease (it currently costs 65 thousand rubles), but the increase in rates will occur thanks to retail chains that operate many stores.

The explanatory note to the bill states that the current level of state tax is unaffordable for small businesses, leading to the cessation of their activities or the sale of alcohol without a license. The new order can create a level playing field for all market participants and protect competition.

At the end of May, the State Duma approved in the third and final reading a bill on the regulation of the sale of alcohol in summer cafes. We are talking about the consumption of alcoholic beverages by visitors of establishments on summer terraces. Now this is allowed only on those terraces that are part of the establishment. In addition, the license for the retail sale of alcohol must now indicate the location of the seasonal cafe.
