ETH Zurich has developed the ANYmal robops, which walks on common surfaces and can perform a variety of functions.

They have two main types of robots in terms of the design of motor mechanisms: wheeled and walking. The former are able to move quickly, while the latter are able to complicate tasks and walk on difficult terrain. There are models in which two types of mechanism are involved, as in the video.

Engineers from the robotic systems laboratory noted that the robops can be used in three formats: a car for moving quickly, a “four-legged” for overcoming traffic, and loads for moving loads in an upright position.
