The YouTube channel Mrwhosetheboss has released a large-scale comparison of the autonomy of the new iPhones. The following took part in the test:
▶︎ iPhone 16
▶︎iPhone 16 Plus
▶︎iPhone 16 Pro
▶︎iPhone 16 Pro Max
▶︎ iPhone 15
▶︎iPhone 15 Pro Max
▶︎ Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (as an Android representative)
On all smartphones, different applications were launched one after the other and kept running for a long time.
Among the new iPhones, the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro were the first to give up, working for 8 hours and 19 minutes (the iPhone 15 turned off even earlier, working for 7 hours and 45 minutes).
The iPhone 16 Plus came in second, shutting down after 8 hours and 45 minutes.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max lasted 11 hours and 22 minutes. It seems Apple wasn’t lying when it announced record battery life. It beat the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which shut down after 9 hours and 45 minutes.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra lasted the longest in this test, lasting 12 hours and 31 minutes.
