While not all PS5 users are experiencing these issues, those experiencing what can only be described as a “glitch scare” are advised to put their consoles away if possible and wait for the situation to resolve.
While the cause of the issues remains unclear, Square Enix and PlayStation are reportedly aware of the problems and working on a solution.
Interestingly, this has led some on Twitter to suggest that PC may be the best platform for PlayStation gaming right now, with PC players benefiting from improved graphics, customizable options, and quick fixes for technical issues.
