A preferential income tax rate has been introduced for radio electronics manufacturers and insurance premium rates have been reduced.

“At the next meeting, the government will consider a bill to extend this measure for another three years using the preferential interest rate mechanism,” Mishustin said.

He noted that such benefits have allowed radio-electronic organizations to save more than 70 billion rubles by 2023. The possibility of introducing flexibilities for electronics manufacturers and electronic engineering companies is also currently being explored.

“Including manufacturers of special materials and substances used in the production of microelectronics,” the Prime Minister added.

In August, the Cabinet of Ministers announced the allocation of almost 2.5 billion rubles to support Russian digital technologies. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin spoke about this during a government meeting.
