HP has announced HP Print AI, its first AI for printers.
One of the Perfect Output (PO) features is the ability to clean up printouts of web pages and documents. It automatically adds unwanted content, such as ads or strange formatting, to help ensure that only the “desired text and images” are printed. The software formats and reorganizes the content so that it fits perfectly on the page the first time.
AI also optimizes the printing of spreadsheets and charts so that they always fit on one page. According to HP, Print AI can automatically scale the image and remove unwanted objects.
HP Print AI is currently available in “exclusive beta,” with a full launch planned for 2025, bringing even more useful features. [The Verge]
