The lack of repair options has frustrated consumers since the original Pixel Watch launched, as repairs were neither easy nor widely available. Speaking on a panel at Climate Week New York, Nicole Azores, Google’s director of government relations and public policy, emphasized that the company is only looking into repairs for phones and tablets.

Meanwhile, as consumer demand for green technologies grows, this potential shift toward repairable devices could resonate with another user segment as well.
