In the context of Hamster Kombat’s IPO, the crypto wallet integrated into Telegram could not cope with the influx of users, RBC noted. The post also emphasized that the transaction browser on the TON blockchain and the Tonviewer website that displays network status are not working, and users are complaining about errors in the operation of crypto exchanges.
Hamster Kombat appeared on Telegram in March 2024 and since then the clicker has attracted 300 million players. By clicking on the image of a hamster on the screen, users receive coins. They can also be obtained by completing tasks, purchasing power-ups, collecting combo cards, and guessing codes.
On September 22, the game creators held a token distribution. Judging by the reactions on social networks, users were dissatisfied, first of all, with the size of the rewards. “They shaved the hamsters: half were banned and the other half were given two kopecks. Bravo”, one of the players shared his emotions.
It is still not known for sure who the creator of Hamster Kombat is. In July, businessman Eduard Gurinovich registered the Hamster Kombat trademark with Rospatent, and in September, investors in the company Arenum (owned by Gurinovich) demanded that he share the profits from the clicker with them.
