Anker will soon release the world’s first 140W charger with a cover. The unboxing of the device, called Zolo, was published on Chinese social networks.
The Zolo device sits in the area where the charging ports would normally be, with a small earpiece. Below the display there is a mode switch button.
Charging can monitor the power consumed by each port and measure the temperature of the device. When not charging, a sleeping face is displayed on the screen.
All charging connectors are located on the bottom side. There are four of them: 3 USB-C and 1 USB-A. Two USB-C ports can charge gadgets at up to 140W when nothing else is connected, while USB-C and USB-A ports can deliver 40W and 33W of power respectively.
The additional screen weighs 350 grams, which makes charging very heavy compared to conventional power banks with variable wattage and number of ports.
Anker has not yet officially introduced Zolo, so the date and start of sales are unknown. But the release will probably take place in the near future. [The Verge]
