Following the recent launch of the Ryzen 9000 processors, AMD already has its next high-end model in mind: the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. This CPU will mark the arrival of 3D V-Cache technology to the 9000 generation, for which promotional material has been leaked and is currently considered an “unrivalled” product.
Content published by YouTuber and tipster Moore’s Law is DeadShows a promotional image of the future processor. This material reveals parts of the processor box and the slogan “This legend is invincible”.
AMD’s ad content also gives glimpses of the Ryzen 9800X3D, but does not show the entire component. According to the leak, the red team will sell the product as an “elite processor for games”.
AMD invests heavily in 3D V-Cache
The arrival of Ryzen 7 9800X3D is a matter of time because speculations about this model have been circulating on the internet for a long time. In fact, AMD has invested heavily in 3D V-Cache technology and is even bringing the feature to entry-level and mid-range CPUs like the Ryzen 7600X3D.
As for the red team’s new model, the expectation is that AMD will keep the configuration with eight cores and very similar frequencies. The biggest difference will be in the amount of L3 cache, which is still a mystery.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is planned to be released between late October and early November, while other X3D models will only arrive in 2025.
