YouTube, upon request, removed contacts and banned accounts for violating “its policies against spam, deceptive practices and fraud.”

Accounts from the USA, Europe, Asia and Russia were blocked. Users from Russia decided that the account ban was due to the use of applications for changing IP addresses and their analogues.

But it seems that the problem is still with YouTube. The company issued a statement saying that all blocked channels will be restored.

Our team continues to work to restore all deleted channels and provide access to paid subscriptions (YouTube TV, YouTube Premium, YouTube Music). We are very sorry for this issue on our end and will let you know when it is fixed.

If your channel was accidentally deleted and restored, you may notice that some content, such as playlists, may be missing. Don’t worry – this is just a delay and all your content will be restored soon.

It is likely that in the near future all accounts that were banned by mistake will be restored. [9to5Google]
