Pavel Durov’s mother of three children, Irina Bolgar, called statements that she and the billionaire were not in a relationship “a blatant lie.” Previously, a representative of the businessman told the New York Times that Durov and Bolgar “were never a couple.” Bulgarian commented on this on Instagram*.

“I have already provided NYT journalists with all the evidence I have to refute Durov’s representative’s false comments,” Bolgar said. According to her, she has photographs “of the 10 years of family life” with the businessman.
In addition, Bólgar said that he corresponded with the founder of Telegram, from which it is clear that he himself considered the relationship as family.
Durov’s representative, in conversation with the New York Times, said that the businessman has many children, to each of whom he allocates $10,000 a month. He added that Bólgar spends that money on “luxury goods and other excesses.” Durov hopes that Swiss justice will resolve this dispute and that the funds “embezzled by the Bolgars” will be returned to the children, said the billionaire’s representative.
Bolgar responded by saying that for the first time he had heard of the existence of other recognized heirs of Durov, in addition to the children known to Forbes (we are talking about a son born in 2010 and a daughter born in 2009, who were born to the ex-wife of the businessman Daria Bondarenko).
Bólgar also noted that she knows nothing of any profit worth $10,000: “I am completely shocked by all these false statements that are so easy for me to refute. “I’m going to write a separate post about all the lies,” he promised.

For the first time she announced that Bolgar gave birth to three children from Durov in June 2024. In August, she provided Forbes with copies of documents confirming the relationship between the children and the founder of Telegram.

Also in August, Bolgar filed a lawsuit against the businessman in a Swiss court, alleging that the businessman stopped paying him child support and used physical violence against one of his children. Bolgar later claimed that the court deprived Durov of parental rights.

In September, Bolgar called Telegram jointly owned with Durov and emphasized that under the laws of some countries he could claim a stake in the company.
