In the last few hours, several YouTube users have noticed that their channels have been deleted and access to paid subscriptions to YouTube TV, YouTube Premium and YouTube Music has been cancelled. Google called this a bug and said they were working on a fix for the issue.
“We are receiving reports that channels have been mistakenly removed due to “spam and deceptive practices.” “Our teams are actively working to restore the channels,” the post says.
The company also noted that some users may have temporarily lost channel content, including playlists. Google assured that this problem will be solved.
Previously, one of Habr’s users suggested that YouTube start banning shadow accounts for using VPNs and public proxies. The authors of the Telegram channel “Badcore” wrote about this. They noted that if the account is already blocked, it is impossible to restore it. Users were advised to use backup accounts to avoid losing the primary one.
