DNA Realty CEO Anton Belykh noted that Four Paws stores are usually located in places with a large flow of customers: shopping centers, metro stations and new residential complexes. According to the director of TopFranchise.ru, Viktor Bolshakov, the demand for pet store franchises has been stagnant for several years and there has been no change compared to 2023. Despite this, chains are still looking for new locations to expand, noted Anton Belyj . He added that there is currently a lack of available rental space on the market and rental prices remain high.
Anna Rozhdestvenskaya, an expert at the Franshiza.ru portal, suggests that Four Paws can transfer existing stores to franchisees or invite partners to open new outlets from scratch. Anton Belykh believes that the chain should focus on small stores up to 100 square meters. m, which can function as online order pick-up points and meet pet supply needs in small residential complexes.
Four Paws-im LLC is owned by Andrey and Marina Tsypin. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, in 2023 the company’s revenue increased by 53% year-on-year and amounted to 864.5 million rubles, net profit – 2.5 million rubles.
According to information on the company’s website, the Four Paws chain has more than 500 stores throughout Russia and offers more than 26 thousand products for animals. Veterinary centers and beauty salons operate under this brand, and 80% of buyers are regular customers.
