The free Adobe Content Authenticity web app will work as part of the Adobe Content Credentials platform, which integrates metadata into the content about the author, the owner of the work, and the use of AI to create it.

The tool can be applied to any file, not just those created with Adobe technologies. Content Authenticity is built into all Creative Cloud apps that support content credentials, including Photoshop and Lightroom.

Content Authenticity will launch in public beta in the first quarter of 2025. The tool can be used with a free Adobe account.

According to an Adobe study, 51% of content creators are concerned that their work is used to train artificial intelligence.
