According to Forbes, Taylor Swift became the first musician in the world who managed to earn a fortune from performing songs and concerts, and not from advertising contracts. Swift displaced Rihanna, whose fortune is estimated at $1.4 billion, from first place on the list of the richest singers.
Swift’s financial fortune consists of $600 million in fees from performances and tours, her music catalog is estimated at $600 million, and the singer has another $125 million in real estate.
Swift earned her first billion dollars in October 2023 thanks to earnings from The Eras Tour. The tour will end in December 2024, during which Swift will perform 152 concerts in North America, South America and Europe. The tour aims to promote the singer’s last four albums.
