The host of the YouTube channel proSSD decided to find out whether an ordinary user will experience any problems if he decides to purchase ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD OC Edition 8GB GDDR6 and connect it to his computer. We installed 1 TB Samsung 990 Pro from SSD to this graphics card.
After inserting the graphics card into the computer, no SSD was detected. This was because the Z790 Apex motherboard was not supported.
You can see the test results in the programs below. Overall they were quite expected. The cooling system also works well, as confirmed by tests.

The expert then compared the results of the SSD inserted into the M.2 connector with the measurements of the SSD inserted via the adapter. There was no significant difference between them at all. Therefore, it absolutely does not matter how you use the SSD with or without a video card: it will work approximately the same. It turns out that there is no point in buying a video card with an SSD connector, especially if its cost is higher.
