The camera operates in the infrared range between 8 and 14 micrometers, which corresponds to the radiation emitted from a human both day and night. The device has a compact design and high angular resolution and is also equipped with catadioptric optics, which allows the thickness to be reduced to 10 millimeters.

Scalable manufacturing technology allows the camera to be used not only in driverless vehicles but also in other areas such as heat loss monitoring, landfill safety and fire service.
