According to him, the increase in salaries is associated with the increase in national production, the import substitution policy and the shortage of personnel. The most significant growth is seen in the manufacturing industry: salaries in this area increased by 27% over the year. Since 2022 they have grown 48.5%.
Water supply, sewage and waste management workers received raises of more than 25%. In mining and construction, wages increased by 21.6% and 21%, respectively.
The highest salaries, as the study showed, are received by employees of mining companies – on average 133.8 thousand rubles before taxes. IT specialists are in second place (123.6 thousand rubles), and financiers are in third place (115 thousand rubles).
Among highly specialized areas, the most profitable were financial services and insurance, where the average income reached 208.3 thousand rubles. Employees in the sectors of fish farming, software development, aerospace transportation, and oil and gas production earn more than 150 thousand rubles.
Rabota.ru Deputy General Director Alexander Veterkov noted that the labor market is suffering from a shortage of personnel due to demographic factors, the declining popularity of part-time employment and the departure of immigrants. He also pointed out an imbalance in the training of specialists, so in some industries there is an excess of personnel, while in others there is a serious shortage.
According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Economic Development, until 2027 the average monthly nominal salary of Russians will increase by 35%. In 2024, growth will be 17.9%, which will increase the average salary to 88.2 thousand rubles. By 2027 it should exceed 119 thousand rubles.
On October 14, the Social Policy Committee of the State Duma approved a bill to increase the minimum wage (minimum wage) to 22,440 rubles from January 1, 2025. The document was prepared by the government. According to him, the initiative will increase the salaries of some 4.2 million workers.
