Internet Archive founder Brewster Kahl said the site is currently ready to use but may require further maintenance, which could lead to a temporary suspension. Users can access the Wayback Machine to search 916 billion previously saved web pages, but the ability to add new pages to the archive is temporarily disabled.

Service restoration is being carried out in stages. The Archives team is restoring access to email accounts and web browsers for the National Libraries.
