A 50-year-old citizen suspected of blowing up the car of the Shaker group’s executive director, Viktor Mishachev, was detained in the southwest of Moscow. According to preliminary data, he is a business partner of the restaurateur, the capital’s Investigative Commission (CI) reported on its Telegram channel.

As noted by Irina Volk, a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department detained a man born in 1973 at his place of residence. During a search at the suspect’s place of residence, a cache of weapons was discovered, the Investigative Committee said. The necessary forensic examinations for the seized weapons were ordered, they added.
On October 15, at around eight in the morning, a car explosion occurred on Profsoyuznaya Street in Moscow. As a result of the incident, three people were injured: Viktor Mishachev, his six-year-old son and the businessman’s neighbor, Alexander Sh.
According to the “priority version” of the investigation, the car explosion could be related to the victim’s business activities. A criminal case has been opened for attempted murder (part 3 of article 30 and paragraphs “a” and “e” of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code).
According to the Kontur Focus system, Viktor Mishachev is the director and member of EVVA LLC, Captain LLC, Shaker Group LLC, Time Bar SPB LLC. Kapitan LLC’s revenue in 2023 amounted to 17.3 million rubles, net profit – 3.6 million rubles. Among the businessman’s projects are the Beef restaurant and the Coyote Ugly bar.
