The biometric terminal will allow passengers to go through pre-flight procedures using biometric data, which will significantly simplify and speed up their services. The press service noted that agreements on the implementation of the project have been reached between the Aeropolitika airport holding and the MILE·ON·AIR company.
The project will be implemented in two stages: The first stage will include the arrangement of the terminal, and the second stage will include the approval of the technical parameters for the use of biometrics. Work is expected to begin in 2024 but completion dates have not yet been determined.
