Amazon has announced the new Kindle Colorsoft.
This is the company’s first e-reader with a color E-Ink display. The display diagonal is 7 inches, the image on it can be seen without pixelation.
Kindle Colorsoft is the brightest Kindle to date at 94 nits. The image density in the new display is 300 ppi for black and white images and 150 ppi for color.
The device is waterproof according to the IPX8 standard. In addition, on a single charge, the e-reader can last up to 8 weeks. You can purchase a docking station for wireless charging, and a wired gadget can be charged in 2.5 hours.
Kindle Colorsoft sales are scheduled to start on October 30. Costs 280 dollars.
