Neve Campbell decided to give up shout 6 The protagonist of all the films in the saga will not be part of the next feature film because of an economic offer that does not seem to equal what the interpreter herself has proven to be worth to the franchise.

As a woman, I’ve worked hard my entire career to prove my worth, especially with Scream. I believe that the offer made to me is not equal to the value I have shown for the saga. For me, leaving the franchise is a very difficult choice. To all my fans I say I love them, you have always supported me. I will always be grateful to you for this franchise and what it has given me over the past 25 years.
An announcement that affects all fans of the saga and the horror genre. The absence of Neve Campbell from Scream 6 will be a very difficult void to fill.

In Scream 6, the characters who survived the Ghostface murders in Woodsboro decide to leave everything behind and forge a new path. Project X Entertainment’s James Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak will serve as executive producers. The other producers are Kevin Williamson, Chad Villella, Gary Barber, Peter Oilataguerre, Ron Lynch, Cathy Konrad and Marianne Maddalena.
