On the latest episode of the Six Colors podcast, Jason Snell and Dan Moren discussed the new iPad mini 7 and its display.

According to Snell, Apple has made a number of changes to the tablet’s screen. This most likely fixed the “jelly effect” problem in the new device. This happened while scrolling.

Jelly effect is a display issue that causes text or images on one side of the display to not sync with the other sensor. As a result, the user sees one half of the screen lag behind the other.

Exactly what improvements are being made to the display are not specified. It goes on to say that the company is changing its screen assembly process to achieve success.

Sales of the iPad mini 7 will start on October 23. Then we are waiting for reviews from the first customers.
