According to the company, which specializes in security solutions for software development, the most popular vacancies are container security engineer or application security engineer (Container Security), machine learning engineer (ML engineer) and security specialist of artificial intelligence (MLSecOps).
This is confirmed by data from hh.ru, referred to in Swordfish Security. For the nine months of 2024, the number of vacant positions for engineers responsible for protecting container environments on the platform increased by 19% compared to the same period in 2023. These specialists are offered an average of 300 thousand rubles ( 20% more than the previous year); ).
During this period, ML engineers were 53% more in demand; employers are willing to pay them an average of 285 thousand rubles (43% more than in 2023). At the same time, the number of vacant positions for AI security specialists decreased by 11%. Experts explain this by the fact that for the Russian market working with MLSecOps is still a new phenomenon, “however, employers retain each such employee.” They are offered an average of 175 thousand rubles (46% more than the previous year).
