The IKEA website has been down for the second day since the start of the online sale. The company invited customers to leave applications on the site to place orders. Subsequently, the data collection form was closed.

IKEA offered to place orders on the site through applications and introduced restrictions on goods

“We are currently processing the applications received. The reception of new applications will start a little later. Please stay tuned for updates on our website," the company said in a statement.

IKEA also introduced restrictions on ordering products: no more than 1 ton, no more than 1 million rubles, no more than 70 pieces of 1 product.

The retailer's stores in Russia closed in early March. On June 15, IKEA announced plans to sell four of its factories in the Russian Federation and scale back business in the country.

On July 5, the sale of the online retailer began, but that same day it was suspended due to technical problems.
