This is the four-cylinder turbocharged engine of the L4 PT-A model, which has much in common with the 4.4-liter series engine used in the Aurus Senat executive sedans.
The L4 PT-A engine has a weight of 150 kg and a volume of 2.2 liters and produces 245 hp. With. Interestingly, it is equipped with distributed injection and has a low compression ratio, which means it most likely runs on AI-92 gasoline. This could make it more accessible for use in the mass segment.
The L4 PT-A engine has not been mass produced so far and it is not clear whether it will go into mass production. However, the development looks promising and we may see this unit on the market in the future.
