Huawei has announced its own operating system, HarmonyOS NEXT.
The main feature of the OS was the complete absence of Android components that use their own sources. The system supports applications using the HUAWEI Ark compiler and Huawei Mobile Services (HMS).
The OS provides a comprehensive ecosystem between all form factors: from smart homes to cars. At the end of the chapter, Huawei, which is part of the HarmonyOS NEXT ecosystem, has already launched more than 15 thousand applications and services, and their number continues to constantly grow.
The company promises an increase in productivity of up to 30%, as well as energy efficiency of up to 20%. AI functions based on the large Pang language model appeared.
