Yandex has launched a new generation of language models YandexGPT 4 Lite and Pro. This was reported by iPhones.ru.
They solve questions twice as fast and are able to analyze and process up to 60 pages of text. In terms of response quality, YandexGPT 4 Pro is 70% better than previous Yandex language models. The company claims that in answers to open questions, YandexGPT 4 Pro is at the level of the OpenAI GPT-4o language model (based on ChatGPT).
Before answering a complex question, YandexGPT 4 breaks down problems into several simple ones and solves them step by step, building a chain of reasoning. For example, the new model is able to study client complaints, understand the problematic situation and offer a way out of the situation.
YandexGPT 4 Lite and Pro are already available as an API in Yandex Cloud for registered users. Some functions are still in test modes. Lite is suitable for simple tasks where speed of response is important, while Pro is more suitable for complex tasks, such as sales analysis.
You can test YandexGPT 4 in the demo version of the chat in Yandex Cloud. In the future, the language model will appear in Alice Pro and other Yandex services.
