In 2025, 95% of Russian companies providing mobile communications, home Internet, pay TV and telephony services plan to increase tariffs. Izvestia writes about this with reference to the results of a TelecomDaily survey.
49% of them can increase prices by 10-15%. Another 22% said prices would rise by 20% or more, and 24% of companies said the increase would be 3–10%.
The main reason for the increase in tariffs is the defect of equipment and an increase in its cost. The company also has problems with staff shortages, cost development, government regulation, cross-border payments and logistics equipment.
Taking these factors into account, indexation of archival tariffs that were established and introduced in completely different economic conditions is inevitable. Everyone needs to maintain high-quality services and modernize networks to accommodate growing traffic.

Before raising prices, operators will now notify the Ministry of Digital Development and the Federal Antimonopoly Service. So far this information has not been received by the FAS. In the event of an unjustified price increase, the agency “will take antimonopoly regulation measures.” [Известия]
