According to experts, business cards are in the greatest demand among entrepreneurs in the cargo transportation sector: almost 60% of them choose this payment method. The top three business areas in which more than half of individual entrepreneurs regularly use business cards were construction, cafes and restaurants.

As the study showed, in the first half of 2024, the largest number of business card expenses for business cards fell in the same categories as for individual cards: hypermarkets (20% of all business card expenses), markets ( 7%) and fuel (7%). At the same time, unlike individual cards, business cards are most often used to pay for car services, household goods and services, repairs, advertising and fuel.

The largest expenses on business cards usually occur in December: at the end of the year, businessmen make purchases at old prices, seasonal advertising campaigns, pay for corporate events and gifts for employees. The vacation period also increases personal spending: it is more convenient for businessmen to pay such expenses with business cards so as not to exhaust the limits of transfers to individual cards, the authors of the study noted.
