This feature is built into the OxygenOS 15 shell and is designed to make file sharing easier between OnePlus and iPhone.

However, in practice, using this function is not as useful as it seems. For OnePlus users, the process is really simple: you need to select the file, open the Share menu and click the Share button on iPhone.

However, iPhone owners must first download the “O+ Connect” application from the App Store, provide the necessary permissions and keep the application open until the process is completed.

The file transfer process also requires the iPhone user to connect to the Wi-Fi network created by OnePlus, making file sharing time-consuming and complicated.

As a result, despite the desire to make file sharing easier, the feature is unlikely to become popular due to the inconvenience of iPhone users who find it easier to use other data transfer methods such as cloud services or messages.
