Users from different regions of Russia reported on the afternoon of October 25 problems with access to the online services of Sber and VTB banks, as well as with the Express Payment System (SBP). Most of the failures were recorded in St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region, Moscow and the Moscow Region, as follows from Downdetector SU data.

VTB — users complained about the inaccessibility of the application and online banking. The largest number of messages came from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region (5%), the Tver region (4%) and Moscow and the Moscow region (4%).

VTB confirmed to RB.RU that there were “short interruptions in money transfers” on Friday. The bank’s specialists “quickly eliminated these restrictions,” the press service of the credit institution noted. They assured that all services are now fully available again.

“Sber” — customers could not make payments or transfers, even by phone number through SBP. Complaints came from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region (5%), the Nizhny Novgorod region (4%) and the Moscow region (3%).

Sber’s press service informed RB.RU that all the bank’s systems are working normally.

PAS — users encountered difficulties making transfers. Problems were most often observed among users from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region (6%), the Novosibirsk region (5%) and the Nizhny Novgorod region (4%).

RB.RU also sent a request to the SBP.
