Elon Musk’s fortune grew by $33.5 billion in one day thanks to the record growth in shares of his car manufacturer Tesla. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk has strengthened his leadership in the ranking of the richest people in the world with a capital of 270 billion dollars.

About 75% of Musk’s fortune is made up of Tesla shares and options, and the rest is made up of important stakes in SpaceX, the social network X and the company xAI, Bloomberg clarifies.
