The new development strategy of Russian Post will be presented before the end of 2024, according to the head of the Ministry of Finance Maksut Shadayev. According to him, it was decided to finalize the concept after a strategic session with the participation of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

A strategic session on the development of Russian Post until 2030 was held in September. Mishustin then noted that the company needs to improve digital mail services to increase customer satisfaction.
At the end of the first half of 2024, the operating profit indicator (EBITDA) of Russian Post was positive for the first time since 2019 and reached 101 million rubles. For comparison, in the same period in 2023 the loss was 3.2 billion rubles.
