Grok AI can now interpret images, the service announced on its official profile on X (formerly Twitter). Generative model developed by Elon Musk’s initiative xAI, answer questions aboutand files submitted by users.
According to the billionaire, even Grok could do it Explain the meaning of jokes using image commentary. However, the tool is still under development.
In a demonstration of the tool, Grok explains a series of comics. The model describes the scene, explains the premise of the joke, details the humor, describes the visual elements and additional layers of content that complete the joke.

Grok was able to interpret images for the first timebut it was already able to generate figures based on text description. The X wizard used an integration with Black Forest Labs’ FLUX.1 to synthesize images.
Grok now understands images and even explains the meaning of a joke.

Elon in a reply to a follower Musk says Grok will be able to read PDF files in the future. However, the billionaire did not make an estimate on when the feature would be available.
Like other functions of Grok, Image interpretation is exclusive to X Premium subscribers. The subscription can be purchased for R$ 36.67 per month.
