Apple introduced the new Mac mini. For the first time in 14 years, it received a new design and support for Apple Intelligence.
The new Mac mini measures 12.7cm in length and width, 7cm smaller than this generation. The height of the computer is 5 cm, according to this indicator it has grown by 1.4 cm. Air is taken in and out through the leg.
Mac mini is available with the M4 and M4 Pro chip. The package comes with 16 GB of RAM, and 64 GB is available in the configurator.
The M4 is only available with a 10-core processor and 10-core graphics. M4 Pro is available in two versions:

▶︎ 14-core processor and 20-core graphics
Compared to an M1-equipped Mac mini, the M4 version performs 1.7x faster calculations in Microsoft Excel and 4.9x faster for panoramic images in Adobe Lightroom Classic.
The M4 Pro was able to render 3D rendering in Blender 2.9 times faster than the Mac mini with the M2 Pro.
The M4 Pro’s Neural Engine is 3x faster than the M1-equipped Mac mini. The M4 Pro also supports Thunderbolt 5, which provides data transfer speeds of up to 120 Gbps.
The front features two USB-C ports with USB 3 support, as well as an audio jack with high-impedance HF headphones. The back of the Mac mini with M4 has three Thunderbolt 4 ports, and the Mac mini with M4 Pro has three Thunderbolt 5 ports. The latest versions include Ethernet (up to 10 Gbps) and HDMI.
Mac mini supports Apple Intelligence, and with M4 and M4 Pro chips, new AI features are much faster than on previous Macs.
