This series, which previously included models with only 4G support, was aimed at users who needed a simple and affordable smartphone.
The new Galaxy A06 5G will be the first device in this series to support 5G. It is already listed in the GSMA database under model numbers SM-A066B/DS and SM-A066M/DS.
Most of the specifications will remain the same as the 4G version of the Galaxy A06, except for the new processor that supports next-generation mobile networks. This will allow users to migrate to a faster network without significant changes to the user experience.
Note that the launch of this new product, which offers a budget option with 5G to a wide audience, will be an important step for Samsung.
