According to the results of the 3DMark Steel Nomad Light test, it turned out that this video chip is superior to the Radeon 780M graphics processor used in the Asus ROG Ally mobile console.
Adreno 830 runs at 1.10 GHz and provides excellent performance for AAA games on mobile devices.
In the Steel Nomad Light test, the Adreno 830 video chip received 2681 points, while the Radeon 780M received 2547 points. However, in individual tests, the Radeon 780M performed better, scoring 2859 points.
The main advantage of ROG Ally remains its efficient cooling system, while smartphones are limited to more compact solutions.
Despite this, the Adreno 830 shows significant potential in mobile gaming by offering a more energy-efficient solution compared to the Radeon 780M.
