The system, called WARP (Web Application Resilient Protection), uses artificial intelligence models trained on generalized data on the behavior of users of all VK services. This allows you to effectively analyze traffic and identify malicious requests based on changes in user behavior and attack patterns.

Unlike traditional methods that focus solely on the number of packets or the speed at which packets arrive, new AI technologies have the capacity to detect and defeat more complex attacks. This includes long-term payloads that can last for days, as opposed to short-term DDoS attacks that typically last up to half an hour.

The system can recognize compound attacks that combine several threats, such as parsing programs that harvest user data and brute force programs that automatically try passwords.
