The customer logs into the App Store using a temporary Apple ID and downloads an app called “Choose Your Bank (YourMoney).” After this, the user can return to their Apple ID.
The data provided by the bank is not repeated. T-Bank support service reported that this method replaced the standard meeting between the customer and a representative.
“Customers can make an appointment with a representative, but they will install the app “in exactly the same way,” said a contact center employee.
T-Bank’s banking app has been removed from the App Store and GooglePlay. In 2023, the credit institution was sanctioned by the European Union, Great Britain, the United States and Canada, and in March 2024, by Japan. The bank several times launched analogues of its application under different names, but it was removed from online stores.
