Considering that the previous OnePlus 11 model did not have this feature, this step of the company seems quite logical and caused dissatisfaction among fans of the brand.

OnePlus has long been extremely cautious about integrating wireless charging into its devices, arguing that the technology is too slow.

However, the company, which started with the OnePlus 8 Pro, 9 Pro and 10 Pro models, finally decided to take this step by offering wireless charging at 50W speed. However, this feature was removed in OnePlus 11, which very few people liked.

According to leaks from reliable sources, wireless charging will reappear on the OnePlus 12 and its speed will be the same as previous models – 50 W.

Additionally, earlier this year, OnePlus representatives told the press that the company was considering adding wireless charging to future models, but they did not specify exactly when this would happen.

Let us remind you that the announcement of OnePlus 12 is expected in December and this device is likely to be one of the first Android smartphones with Qi2 technology.
