Telegram will pay bot and app owners 50% of official advertising revenue. Monetization became available after the next update on October 31.

“Official ads are discreet and preserve user privacy, and content creators and developers can earn 50% of the revenue from ads displayed on their channels and bots,” Telegram said in an official statement.
The messenger also announced an increase in free message limits for bots to 30 per second.
“Developers can now increase the message limit for large services; in this case, the bot will send up to 1,000 messages per second,” the service’s message says. Sending messages is charged to the bot’s balance and costs 0.1 stars.
