The company noted that artificial intelligence does not try to locate data and recognize individual characters on a line, but instead finds and reads all the information at once, just like the human eye does. As a result, passport verification takes a fraction of a second.

The neural network helps to automatically check the relevance of your passport. Speed and accuracy are important when qualifying loan applications at banks, microfinance organizations, and when drafting contracts. Rapid recognition technology helps ensure the continuity of business processes in organizations, the company explained.

The new approach can be extended to other types of documents. The neural network adapts well even to documents whose photographs were taken in conditions of insufficient or excessive lighting, as well as to images of documents photographed at an angle with geometric distortions. Traditionally, these types of images have caused processing problems. The recognition accuracy of the MChZ chain is more than 99%.
