AMD Ryzen 9 9950X fell slightly behind the M4 Max, scoring 3,630 points in single-core and 26,653 points in multi-core tests. The Intel Core i9−14900K also lags in multi-core power by about 15%, making the M4 Max the most powerful laptop chip around.
The M4 Ultra, which will be released a little later, is expected to show even better results.
