Rosatom subsidiary (Tvel JSC), Avtotor Holding and Delimobil (Car Sharing Russia PJSC) signed a cooperation agreement with the region’s authorities to launch a pilot project on electric vehicle sharing in the Kaliningrad region. The main task of the parties to the agreement is now to ensure the availability of an effective network of charging stations and a sufficient fleet of vehicles.

Regional Governor Alexey Besprozvannykh and heads of companies are confident in the ability to ensure the stable operation of shared electric vehicles and the necessary “electric charging infrastructure” in Kaliningrad, Interfax reports.

The project deadlines and the amount of the investment are not revealed. Tvel will be in charge of the network of charging stations and Delimobil of the car fleet. It is assumed that Amberauto A5 electric cars, manufactured at the Avtotor plant, will participate in the project.
