Amazon Prime Video has gained artificial intelligence that can summarize the entire series without spoilers. This Monday (4), “X-Ray Highlights” were announced promises to help you understand or remember the seasonsepisodes or even specific moments from your favorite show.
As Amazon explains, summaries are almost like summaries: The AI tells exciting major events, character stories, and other narrative details, but with built-in locks to avoid introducing spoilers that could ruin your experience.
“X-Ray Recaps” is powered by Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service from Amazon Web Services (AWS) that develops applications with underlying models. The tool uses a combination of Amazon Bedrock models and custom models trained on Amazon SageMaker, a machine learning model training platform for specific uses.

Like X-Ray, which is currently available on Prime Video, X-Ray Recaps can be triggered at any time on a series’ details page or during playback. Once opened, the user can choose whether they want to check the recap of the current episode, the progress of the current season, or the progress of the previous season.
Available with limitations
Right now, X-Ray Recaps is available in Beta and is available to Fire TV consumers in the United States. Monday (4). Support for more devices will come later in the year.
Content creation tools rely on implementing support for more languages. In the announcement blog, Amazon did not mention Portuguese compatibility.
