Bloggers have sent more than 13 thousand requests with their data to Roskomnadzor since November 1, when the corresponding form began to work in State Services. This is stated in a message on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Digital Development.

The law requiring bloggers and channel owners with more than 10,000 subscribers to appear before the RKN from November 1 was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in August. After sending the data, the channel or page enters a special register of the regulator. That same month, the Association of Bloggers and Agencies asked for more time to prepare to implement the rules.
For those who do not meet the new requirements, restrictions will apply from January 1, 2025. Thus, bloggers and channels that have not been declared in the RKN will lose the right to place advertising on their resources, and other channels and pages They will not be able to republish messages from those who are not registered. In addition, a blogger who is not on the RKN list will not be able to collect donations for his activities.
